Project Title: Critical Infrastructure Resilience of the Distribution Grid

Project Summary: A grid resiliency improvement solution is proposed. It features extensive use of distributed energy resources (DER) as well as the emerging concept of a microgrid operating within a wireless sensor network (WSN) for enhanced responsiveness and faster restoration of power to critical loads. The project has the potential to significantly reduce the outage time during high-impact, low frequency weather events.
