The general meeting will take place in a hybrid format.  Although in-person is preferred, arrangements have been made in consideration of those who need to attend virtually.  Accessible links to the meeting will be provided one week prior to the event upon registration.  Thank you again for your continued participation and we look forward to seeing everyone at the spring meeting!

Additional In-Person Details:

  • Face masks will be required indoors, except while eating/drinking.
  • Plan to arrive at 7:30am each morning to sign in at the registration table.
Parking / Shuttle Service Instructions:
  • Complimentary shuttle services will be provided via Tiger Transit to/from the Abernathy Hotel, James F. Martin Inn and Watt Center on the following schedule:
Wednesday, March 23rd Shuttle Schedule 
A 41 passenger bus will begin picking up guests at 7:30 AM from the Abernathy Hotel.
The bus will stop on Walter T. Cox Blvd. due to the size of the bus. Next the bus will
go to the James F. Martin Inn to pick up guests. The guests will be transported to the Watt Center.
The bus will run in loops until 10:30 AM and arrive at each hotel every 20 minutes.
CHP Tour 
A 41 passenger bus will stage at 4:15 PM at the Watt Center for a 4:30 PM
departure to CHP Energy Plant in R-1. Bus will wait for the group to tour the
facility. The bus will stage at 5:45 PM to transport guests to Martin Inn,
The Abernathy Hotel and a C-11 parking lot.

 

Thursday, March 24th Shuttle Schedule 
A 41 passenger bus will pick up guests at 7:30 AM from the Abernathy Hotel.
The bus will stop next at the James F. Martin Inn to pick up guests. The guests will be
transported to the Watt Center. The bus will run in loops until 10:30 AM.
The bus will arrive at each hotel every 20 minutes.
A 41 passenger bus will pick up guests at 3:30 PM at the Watt Center
The bus will transport guests to the James F. Martin Inn, The Abernathy Hotel
and a C-11 parking lot. Bus will run loops until 5:30 PM.

In a great collaboration of effort to provide more content on a broader scale, the CAPER meetings moved to two sessions per year starting in 2019. The meetings will continue to take place each year in the Spring (March) and Fall (November). We look forward to the continuation of exciting and innovative energy discussions of the future!
