Load growth in the Southeast is skyrocketing.  To keep pace safely, the industry must pivot to address the operational realities of hyper-scale computational demand.  Join CAPER as we address the critical emerging issues defining this transformation:  

  • Fault-driven major loss-of-load events
  • Load-and-system interaction oscillations
  • The operational push toward co-locating generation and rapid load centers

Research Impact Notice: CAPER researchers will hear targeted assessments designed to directly shape the priorities for the CAPER 2027 Research Proposal Solicitation.  A formal RFP announcement will be released December 15th, 2026.

  •  Wednesday sessions include continental breakfast and lunch.  A reception and CAPER project poster session will take place 5:00-7:00 pm. (Closed Session – Open to CAPER Members Only)
  • Thursday workshop sessions include continental breakfast and research lunch.  A DEV tour will be provided to CAPER Members.
